Hey everyone, it's Deanna from
A Primary Owl here today to talk fall....... I know pretty much everyone loves fall but I
especially love because I grew up in Central Florida. And October in Florida is pretty much just like July, August and September, hot and humid. So when we moved to Georgia, I could not get enough of changing leaves, crisp cool air and of course pumpkins! Did you know in Florida, you can't buy your pumpkins too early or they will just rot because of the heat??? So my fall favorites are all about PUMPKINS!
Buying our pumpkins is my favorite fall tradition and we always go to the same place up in the North Georgia Mountains. We love
Burt's, folks drive from all over to visit this farm and get their pumpkins. They have some enormous ones too! It's a great place for a day of family fun.
Here's some great book suggestions for your pumpkin days in the classroom. I {heart} The Biggest Pumpkin Ever and read it to my class every year.
Now for a pumpkin freebie! If you teach multiplication, this freebie is great for your Math Workshop Center.
This is the second week of our giveaway, which means.........you get another chance to win a gift card! Enter today and don't forget to follow The Primary Peach on
